Key Responsibilities
Skillset: C programming, Firmware, Debugging (JTAG) PCIe, VDM, AHCI, I2C, UART, SPINOR, NVMe, NVME MI, MCTP, PLDM, RDE, RAID Secure FW and RoT SED Drives (TCG OPAL) ARM Architecture Experience with Protocol Analyzer Scope of Work: Company will work on Firmware & Software maintenance of Marvell’s Storage products along with Marvell team. These products are deployed in Enterprise and Data center and include the following: NVMe Accelerator SATA Controller Encryption controller Company will provide the following Services, and Deliverables for the Project pursuant to this. Requirements Analysis Study Product Requirements: Thoroughly study and understand the product requirements for firmware & software development. Development and Equipment: Gain a comprehensive system level understanding for firmware & software developmental activities and equipment necessary for the complete system. Host/Server Software: Learn about the host and server software required for device attachment and integration. Document appropriate design for new feature request or bug fixes. NVMe/SATA Controller Understanding Analyse Hardware Peripherals: Understand the available hardware peripherals on the controller board. Firmware / Software Stack Analysis Analyse Firmware / Software Modules: Understand the various firmware / tools modules and layers organized within the storage product. Evaluate Implemented Features: Assess the implemented features in the firmware / tools. Firmware / Tools Enhancements Firmware & software bug fixing, reported internally or from customer Develop unit testing to achieve 90% code coverage Defect Management Collaboration: Collaborate with Test team as required Fix Defects: Triage and fix defects in the concerned firmware or tools/application module. Track Defect Resolution: Track the resolution of reported defects and ensure proper documentation and communication. Customer Communication Attend customer meetings and communicate with customers as required. FW and Tools/Driver Release Release as per customer agreed cadence for new features and/or bug fixes. Weekly Status & Meetings Provide weekly status and RCA meetings as required in the format and cadence prescribed by Marvell Attend all technical meetings on as-needed basis.
