WHAT YOU’LLDO
The Host/ess creates a warm and welcoming first impression by greeting guests, managingreservations and seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth flow of service throughout the dining experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Welcome guests, manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and communicate restaurant offerings, daily specials, and menu information to ensure a seamless and welcoming dining experience
Escort guests to their tables, communicate guest preferences and special requests to the service team, andmaintainaccurate reservation records and guest profiles to deliver personalized, anticipatory service
Support dining room operations by clearing and sanitizing tables, resetting place settings, replenishing guest amenities,maintaining side stations, and ensuring all guest-facing areas are clean, organized, and presentation-ready
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, waiting areas, menus, and reservation systems while ensuring all materials meet appearance standards
Professionally answer phones, manage reservations, respond to guest inquiries, and address concerns or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and service excellence
Assist service team members as needed to support efficient restaurant operations and an exceptional guest experience throughout service periods

WHAT TOBRING
Successful candidatemustpossess legal work authorization in United States
The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours aday and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability isrequired.
Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
HawaiiFoodHandler's Cardisrequired for this role
Ability to stand for extended periods,lift up to 50lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
Ability to perform under pressure whilemaintaining professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment
