Job Description

Main responsibilities 

Inventory Management & Storeroom Organisation 

  • Maintainaccurate inventory of branded items, printed collaterals, roll-ups, backdrops, and gifting stock. 

  • Ensure items are labelled, well-maintained, and stored neatly. 

  • Keep the storeroom consistently clean, organised, and ready for event deployment. 

Quality Assurance of Branding Collaterals 

  • Check andmaintain quality standards for all collaterals including roll-ups, backdrops, signage, and giveaways. 

  • Ensure collaterals reflect the school's professional image at every event. 

Event Coverage (Photography & Videography) 

  • Provide photo and video coverage of school-wide events (Open Days, award ceremonies, Winter Fest, inaugurations, special lectures, cultural celebrations, and workshops). 

  • Capture high-quality content for classroom events and student life. 

  • Ensure output aligns with brand identity and ISP standards. 

Content Planning & Scheduling 

  • Develop andmaintain a content shooting schedule aligned with weekly, monthly, and termly school activities. 

  • Ensure all events and in-class moments are documented effectively. 

  • Coordinate with the Marketing Manager to avoid overlap or missed coverage. 

Classroom & Academic Content Creation 

  • Capture meaningful learning and co-curricular activities when no major events are scheduled. 

  • Showcase academics, creativity, well-being, and student life through engaging content. 

  • Work with teachers toidentify and plan content opportunities. 

Consent Management & Safeguarding 

  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies in photography and videography. 

  • Obtain required consent from teachers, tutors, or students before capturing content. 

  • Maintain proper consent records for approved materials. 

Marketing Support & Brand Positioning 

  • Assist the Marketing Manager with campaign execution, shoot planning, and brand strategy. 

  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance brand positioning and visibility for The English College. 

  • Align all output with ISP brand pillars: academic excellence, well-being, future pathways, international opportunities, and community. 

Major Projects & ISP Support 

  • Support in delivering content and creative assets for ISP-wide initiatives. 

  • Assist with projects such as ISP boards and other global marketing tasks. 

Finance & Vendor Coordination 

  • Follow up with Finance to ensure vendor invoices and payments are processed on time. 

  • Check invoices against vendor SOAs for accuracy and raise any discrepancies. 

  • Maintain clear communication with vendors to support smooth event execution. 

Local & Cultural Event Support 

  • Assist with the organisation and coverage of national and cultural celebrations (Flag Day, UAE National Day, Arabic/Emirati language-related events). 

  • Support special initiatives such as the Arabic podcast, workshops, or cultural showcases. 

Creative Content & Video Ideas 

  • Develop fresh ideas for video storytelling, Instagram Reels, and other short-form content formats. 

  • Suggest and test new creative approaches to enhance engagement. 

  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to align creativity with strategic goals. 

Content Development & Engagement 

  • Produce engaging, high-quality content for social media and digital platforms. 

  • Ensure messaging and visuals are consistent with brand guidelines and school values. 

Pastoral responsibilities 

  • To promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people that you are responsiblefor, orcome into contact with. 

Other duties and responsibilities 

  • Communicate effectively and appropriately with all stakeholders at all times. 

  • Behave appropriately at all times,inline with the EC standards and school values. 

  • Attend school events and take part in the wider life of the school. 

  • Play a part in continually improving the school by aiding the relevant improvement plans and school improvement plan. 

  • Conduct break time/ lunch time duties as per a rota. 

  • Cover for absent colleagues, as and whenappropriate. 

  • Take responsibility for one’s own professional development journey Engaging in the school-wide professional development programme. 

  • Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Principal/Seniorleaders/Line managers. 

Qualifications and related Experience 

  • Have excellent knowledge ofschool basedmarketing . 

  • Be talented and highly motivated 

  • Be willing to contribute to the development of departmental resources 

  • Contribute to whole school enrichment activities before and after school 

  • Be professional in appearance and conduct 

  • Be willing to contribute to the wider curriculum and support the vision of the school.
