Applications & Operations Support Manager (Oracle Fusion HCM/Finance)
Contract: 6 months with extension possibilities

About the Role
Our client, a national sales and marketing services organization, is seeking an Applications & Operations Support Manager to lead its Enterprise Applications Support team. This leader will partner closely with business stakeholders so core software solutions align with operational strategy and drive business outcomes. The role oversees software procurement, configuration, maintenance, and production support across enterprise systems, with a focus on high availability, continuous service improvement, and alignment with security and infrastructure standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Vendor Governance: Direct daily activities of the Support Services team and govern external delivery teams within a Managed Services model, including SLA enforcement and ITIL/ITSM frameworks.
• Business Partnership & Process Improvement: Serve as the primary point of contact for core business units. Analyze application effectiveness to identify process and service optimization opportunities.
• Production Support & Incident Management: Oversee production support, lead root-cause analysis for major incidents, and maintain application availability, disaster recovery, and change control standards.
• Architecture & Integration Alignment: Partner with cross-functional IT leaders so application and integration designs comply with enterprise technology, infrastructure, and security architectures.
• Continuous Improvement & Operational Rigor: Implement code promotion standards, maintain comprehensive application documentation, and establish operational reporting to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in enterprise application support and delivery
• 5 years of direct team leadership
• Hands-on or leadership experience with Oracle Fusion HCM and Oracle Fusion Finance
• Experience managing vendors and SLAs within a Managed Services model
• ITIL and ITSM certifications strongly preferred
