POSITION OVERVIEW
The Application Support Engineer will join the enterprise content management team to design, configure, and maintain robust OpenText ECM solutions. The primary mission of this team is to ensure seamless document management, system administration, and high-performance integrations with enterprise platforms like SAP across business units.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement OpenText Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions according to business and functional requirements.
- Configure, customize, and administer OpenText Content Server, Documentum, Extended ECM, and associated modules.
- Integrate ECM platforms with core enterprise applications (such as SAP and CRM systems) using REST APIs and Web Services.
- Perform system administration tasks including upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and health monitoring.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 troubleshooting and technical support to resolve complex application issues.
- Support ongoing digital transformation, cloud deployment, and content migration initiatives to modern ECM platforms.
- OpenText Enterprise Content Management (Content Server / Documentum / Extended ECM) – 7+ years
- OpenText ECM Configuration, Customization, and System Administration – 7+ years
- Enterprise Integrations (REST APIs, Web Services, SAP / ERP integration) – 7+ years
- OpenText xECM, Archive Center, and Records Management
- Cloud Deployments & Migrations (Azure / AWS)
- Scripting and Development (Java, .NET, or similar languages)
- Retail Industry Domain Knowledge
