Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and delivering timely solutions to ensure smooth and uninterrupted business operations. Collaboration with different teams and continuous monitoring of system performance are integral parts of the daily routine, contributing to the overall stability and efficiency of critical enterprise applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise and guiding problem-solving approaches.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting ERP.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex software issues within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in managing and supporting large-scale business applications with a focus on revenue accounting and reporting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and techniques to ensure high availability and performance of critical applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting ERP.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
