Application Programmer III

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced mobile Automation Engineer with a strong background in Mobile Architecture, software development, and the development of mobile test automation frameworks. The successful candidate will lead and design automated solutions, including unit testing, functional testing, UI testing, and performance testing, to ensure software quality across a wide range of mobile devices and tablets. This role requires close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams and the ability to work independently in a team environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar technical field
• Proficiency in Java and Shell Scripting
• Experience with Mobile Test Automation using Appium
• Proficiency in Selenium Test NG
• 5 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Testing Manual QA
• Experience with one of the mobile automation tools and frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
• Hands-on experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools
• Experience with source code and CI/CD management tools such as Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Bitbucket
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

• Experience with continuous integration Unit tests
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Innovative approach to uncover issues during the development phase
• Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features
• Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes
• Maintain automated regression suites/packages to comply with changing requirements and features
