Application Programmer III

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on the MCL Upgrade project and will be responsible for developing and maintaining database solutions. This role requires a strong background in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, automation testing, and ETL/database testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues, including SQL tuning, query optimization, execution plan analysis, and indexing strategies.
• Experience creating and maintaining database objects such as tables, views, indexes, sequences, synonyms, materialized views, procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• 3 years of experience in automation testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• 3 years of experience in ETL and database testing, including data validation, data reconciliation, and source-to-target mapping verification.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices, including Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
• Knowledge of Oracle database administration concepts, database migration, backup/recovery processes, and release deployment activities.

• Develop and maintain database solutions for the MCL Upgrade project.
• Perform automation testing and ETL/database testing to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
