Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for a hybrid position (3 days required onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC; Pennington, NJ or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role owns the end-to-end program execution for sensitive data workflows, focusing on planning, delivery, risk management, and stakeholder alignment. The ideal candidate will partner with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and other teams to deliver a secure and auditable onboarding experience.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage the integrated plan (milestones, dependencies, critical path), run delivery cadence, and drive timelines across workstreams
• Align Engineering, Product, Compliance/Legal, Risk, InfoSec, and Operations; facilitate decisions and keep partners informed
• Maintain RAID, anticipate delivery/security/compliance risks, drive mitigations, and escalate with options
• Provide clear status updates (progress, RAG, key blockers/asks, upcoming milestones) for senior leadership
• Coordinate scope and delivery with third parties; manage integration readiness, support models, contractual deliverables, and SLA performance
• Ensure requirements clarity (including security/auditability/resiliency), manage change control, and drive sign-offs
• Orchestrate testing, cutover/runbooks, enablement, post-release monitoring, and post-implementation reviews

Requirements:

• 8+ years of program/project management experience delivering complex, cross-functional technology initiatives
• Proven experience driving execution in Agile/Hybrid environments (Scrum/Kanban + traditional milestone tracking)
• Strong technical fluency: ability to partner effectively with engineers and architects; comfort discussing APIs/integrations, SDLC, environments, and release management
• Demonstrated strength in executive communication, facilitation, and influencing without authority
• Experience managing third-party vendors (delivery coordination, escalations, and SLA tracking)
• Strong organizational skills with advanced proficiency in common program management tooling (e.g., Jira/Azure DevOps, MS Project/Smartsheet, Confluence/SharePoint, Excel/PowerPoint)

Desired skills:

• Experience working on regulated-data programs (e.g., MNPI, privacy, records management, financial controls) requiring audit-ready processes and evidence collection
• Familiarity with information security and access control concepts (least privilege, entitlements, encryption, logging/monitoring)
• Experience onboarding applications/modules into enterprise platforms and operating models (support readiness, change management, documentation)
• Background in capital markets/financial services technology environments

Pay range:$45.85 - $53.85 per hour
