Application Programmer - Jersey City, NJ - Contract - $68-73 Per HR

Join our team to work on innovative solutions in a hybrid setting, with responsibilities including hands-on application development and support for data, analytics, and reporting functionalities. This contract role requires extensive experience with modern data technologies and collaboration with technical leads and product owners.

Description

• Start ASAP, with expectations to begin 2-4 weeks after offer.
• Hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
• Work closely with technical leads and product owners.
• Deliver and support data, analytics, and reporting functionalities.
• Responsible for application development across the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and performance in database environments.
• Lead migration of legacy database modules to modern data stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support data and analytics functionalities.
• Collaborate with technical leads and product owners.
• Implement data pipelines for efficient data processing.
• Optimize performance for scalability with large data sets.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10-12 years of experience in SQL programming and development.
• Experience with data architecture and database design in big data environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
