Application Production Support Engineer (Senior)

We are looking for an experiencedApplication Production Support Engineer to join a leading company in the banking sector. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical applications, providing both technical and functional support across production environments.

You will work closely with Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Business teams, supporting incident resolution, releases, monitoring, automation initiatives, and continuous service improvement in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional support for business-critical applications.
• Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes following ITIL best practices.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Support application releases, deployments, migrations, and environment management activities.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain operational documentation, procedures, and knowledge repositories.
• Participate in on-call support activities when required.

• 6+ years of experience in Application Production Support, Application Management, IT Operations, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of production environments and mission-critical application support.
• Experience managing application releases, production incidents, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Proven expertise in ITOps, infrastructure operations, and production support best practices.
• Experience working within Agile, DevOps, and ITIL environments.
• ITIL Certification is considered an advantage.
