Application Engineer

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS/个人能力描述

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. For candidates with extensive relevant experience, the education requirement may be relaxed.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Application Engineering, Technical Customer Support, R&D, or Product Development in an industrial products environment.
• Knowledge of fastening products such as threaded fasteners, blind rivets, blind rivet nuts, self-clinching fasteners, or similar joining solutions.
• Familiarity with AI servers, data center infrastructure, racks, storage systems, power systems, or cooling applications is preferred.
• Experience supporting customer design-in activities and understanding technical requirements in product development.
• Able to read engineering drawings and use AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong customer focus, teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES/任务和职责

• Understand customer requirements and application trends in the AI and Data Center industry.
• Support sales in identifying customer needs, specifications, and new business opportunities.
• Recommend suitable fastening solutions and application approaches based on customer requirements.
• Drive design-in activities by working with customer engineering teams during early project stages.
• Support on-site testing, product validation, installation trials, and technical troubleshooting.
• Work with internal teams to modify existing products or develop new solutions for customer applications.
• Support value analysis, failure analysis, teardown reviews, and application improvement activities.
• Build strong customer relationships through timely and professional technical support.
• Provide technical training to internal and external stakeholders.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time and follow company business conduct guidelines.
• Operate within the boundaries of the company’s Business Conduct Guidelines and all applicable compliance requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
