Job Title: Oracle Database / PL/SQL Developer (Director/Associate Level)
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite/Hybrid as per client policy)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $64.41/hr W2

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database / PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and support database-driven applications for a leading financial services client. The role focuses on Oracle PL/SQL development, complex SQL performance tuning, Unix shell scripting, and production support within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (packages, procedures, triggers, views).

• Perform performance tuning using AWR reports and query optimization techniques.

• Support new development, enhancements, and maintenance across multiple environments.

• Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions.

• Troubleshoot database and Unix-related production issues.

• Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for automation and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of database development experience.

• Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL expertise with code review capability.

• Experience with SQL Developer/TOAD and performance diagnostics.

• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience working in Agile teams with cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Background in banking, securities, or financial services.

• Trading domain knowledge.

• Exposure to Java/Perl.

• Oracle Administration experience (versions, upgrades).
