Essential Job Functions:
Core Roles & Responsibilities
- Platform Maintenance: Perform routine monitoring, performance tuning, and health checks. Manage system clones, patches, and version upgrades.
- User Management: Administer user accounts, groups, and roles. Maintain Access Control Lists (ACLs) to ensure data security and proper permissions.
- Configuration & Customization: Build and configure Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Data Policies.
- Workflow Automation: Design and maintain automated workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor to streamline business processes.
- Incident & Problem Support: Troubleshoot platform issues, investigate bugs, and coordinate with ServiceNow Support (HI/Now Support) for high-level technical resolution.
- Data Management: Manage data imports and exports using Transform Maps. Ensure CMDB (Configuration Management Database) accuracy and data integrity.
- Service Catalog Management: Create and maintain Service Catalog items, including variables, variable sets, and fulfillment workflows.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Create, schedule, and manage reports and interactive dashboards for stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Developers and Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical functional specifications.
Required skill -
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Service Now modules.
- Experience: Must have at least 3-5 years of Service Now Experience.
- Scripting: Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript for platform customization.
- Integrations: Familiarity with LDAP, SSO, and integrating third-party tools via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Certification: Requires a ServiceNow Certified System Ad
