Application Developer

Job Summary

Seeking an experiencedApplication Developer to develop, enhance, integrate, and support enterpriseAsset Management and Power Delivery applications, includingAIMS and Fulcrum. The role requires strongdatabase development, object-oriented programming, API integration, troubleshooting, and enterprise application support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, enhance, and maintainweb, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Develop and supportAIMS (Asset Information Management System) and enterpriseFulcrum applications.
• PerformOracle database development, including SQL, schema design, data modeling, mapping, and integration.
• Design, develop, consume, and supportREST/SOAP APIs and integrations between AIMS, Fulcrum, GIS, and other systems.
• Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot applications, integrations, defects, and production issues.
• Participate inSDLC, application architecture, technical design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations, and technology teams.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional programming/software development experience.
• StrongSQL/database development, data modeling, or schema design experience;Oracle preferred.
• Experience withC#, Python, or another object-oriented programming language.
• Hands-on experience withREST and/or SOAP API integration.
• Experience developing/supportingenterprise applications in production.
• Understanding ofSDLC/software development methodologies.
• Strongsoftware troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-stack web development experience.
• OutSystems or comparable low-code/application development platform.
• Agile development experience.
• Utility, asset management, or Power Delivery application experience.
• Fulcrum/mobile inspection/data collection platform experience.
• GIS/Esri/ArcGIS and spatial data integration experience.
• Cloud platforms, SAML, OAuth, and modern integration patterns.
• Git/version control, testing, CI/CD pipelines.

Work Environment

Hybrid role based inBirmingham, AL, with remote work and occasional onsite meetings, workshops, testing, and operational support.
