Summary:
As an Application Designer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into effective application designs. This role requires active participation in defining detailed requirements and crafting solutions that align with organizational goals. The position demands continuous interaction with various teams to ensure that the designed applications support and enhance business processes, while also adapting to evolving requirements and challenges. Creativity and problem-solving are integral as the Application Designer works to deliver functional and efficient application frameworks that drive operational success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies within the application design process.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to promote continuous learning and improvement.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
- Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM modules and their integration capabilities.
- Experience in designing scalable and maintainable application solutions within Workday environments.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical design specifications.
- Familiarity with configuration and customization options available in Workday Core HCM.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
