Application Consultant - Jersey City, NJ - Contract - $34-44 per HR

Join our team as an Application Consultant in the vibrant area of Jersey City, NJ. This is a contract position where you will be responsible for developing backend systems and APIs using modern technology stacks. This role requires expertise in backend frameworks and databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using backend frameworks.
• Implement event-driven technologies for system optimization.
• Accelerate backend processes through asynchronous processing and query optimization.
• Ensure high code quality through testing, documentation, and reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of backend development experience with programming languages.
• Strong hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
• Proven expertise in API design, development, and documentation.
• Experience with event streaming platforms and document databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.
