Application Consultant - Jersey City, NJ - Contract - $76-86 Per HR

Join our dynamic team as a Java Developer in the vibrant region of Jersey City, NJ. This onsite contract position involves developing high-performance backend systems with a focus on API development. Candidates should have strong expertise in backend technologies and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using backend technologies.
  • Implement event-driven technology for efficient data processing.
  • Drive backend acceleration strategies, including asynchronous processing and query optimization.
  • Ensure high code quality through testing, documentation, and code reviews.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a senior hands-on developer with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in backend development and API design.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-starter who can independently drive projects to completion.
