Application Architect II

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled professional for an application production support role. This position requires a strong, in-depth knowledge of UNIX, SQL, Autosys, Informatica, and the Frontier Finance application. The successful candidate will have experience in production support and be able to work effectively under tight deadlines to resolve production outages and other major business-impacting issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of UNIX, SQL, Autosys, Informatica, and Frontier Finance application
• Experience with database systems such as Oracle SQL Server
• Experience in triaging production issues and identifying root causes and corrective actions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Dynatrace application
• Familiarity with the AutoSys scheduler
• Process automation experience

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform production support tasks including performance monitoring, proactive system health checks, and feed issue follow-up
• Work closely with the Line of Business and development team to identify ongoing problems, suggest solutions, and implement improvements
• Review upcoming projects/deliverables with the development team on a regular basis
• Identify/escalate Risk and Governance issues as needed
• Ensure production and performance SLAs are current and met, escalating issues that need attention
• Create Knowledge Transfer/How-To documents to highlight production support procedures
• Formulate automation opportunities
• Support on-call rotation for off-hours and weekend support as needed
