Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Application & Integration Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex, enterprise-grade solutions across cloud-native and hybrid environments. This role bridges solution architecture, integration strategy, and client advisory, requiring a hands-on architect who can operate seamlessly from pre-sales through to delivery and execution.
You will play a key role in shaping scalable, resilient architectures that integrate modern applications, APIs, and COTS platforms, while guiding clients through transformation journeys and ensuring alignment with cloud-native principles.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end architecture for complex application ecosystems, including API-first and event-driven integration patterns.
• Define and implement integration strategies across enterprise systems, SaaS/COTS platforms, and custom-built applications.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, engaging in pre-sales activities such as solution shaping, proposals, and technical presentations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solution architectures.
• Contribute to and govern cloud-native architecture standards, leveraging modern platforms and microservices-based approaches.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple technology stacks including .NET, Java, Node.js, Spring Boot, React, React Native, and Angular.
• Provide architectural leadership throughout delivery, ensuring solutions are aligned to design and best practices.
• Drive API strategy including design, governance, lifecycle management, and developer enablement.
• Ensure integration solutions adhere to security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Mentor teams and promote best practices in architecture, integration, and cloud-native development.
Required Skills & Experience
• 15+ years of experience in application architecture, integration architecture, or related roles.
• Proven experience designing and delivering complex, enterprise-scale solutions involving APIs and system integrations.
• Strong experience integrating with COTS/SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, or similar).
• Deep understanding of integration patterns such as REST, event-driven architecture, messaging, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native design principles.
• Familiarity with modern development stacks including:
o Backend: .NET, Java, Node.js, Spring Boot
o Frontend: React, Angular, React Native
• Experience with API management platforms and integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee, Azure Integration Services, Kafka).
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Leadership
• Lead end-to-end architecture for complex application ecosystems, leveraging API-first, cloud-native, and event-driven integration patterns.

• Partner with Sales, Client Partners, and Delivery teams to shape compelling and differentiated solutions for RFPs, RFIs, bids, and client presentations.
• Develop end-to-end solution architectures that align client requirements with technical feasibility, delivery capability, security, scalability, and commercial objectives.
• Present and defend solution approaches, architecture designs, and technical strategies to client executives and technical stakeholders.
• Support deal qualification, solution costing, risk assessments, and estimation activities to improve win rates and profitability.
Account Growth & Client Advisory
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
• Partner with Account Managers and Client Partners to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts through proactive account mining and technology consulting.
• Conduct architecture assessments, roadmap discussions, and advisory workshops to uncover transformation opportunities.
• Identify and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across application modernization, integration, cloud, data, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Support strategic account planning by aligning technology roadmaps with client business objectives.
Delivery & Commercial Alignment
• Work closely with Delivery teams to design practical, deliverable, and cost-effective solutions that balance client expectations, delivery risk, quality, and profitability.
• Validate implementation approaches, delivery models, resource plans, estimates, and operational support requirements.
• Drive solution optimization by reducing unnecessary complexity, improving delivery efficiency, and ensuring cost-conscious design decisions.
• Ensure seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery through clear architecture documentation and stakeholder alignment.
• Balance innovation with execution, ensuring proposed solutions can be successfully delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
API & Integration Strategy
• Define API strategies including design standards, governance frameworks, lifecycle management, and developer enablement.
• Drive adoption of modern integration approaches including REST APIs, event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, and microservices.
• Lead architecture decisions involving integration technologies such as MuleSoft, Apigee, Azure Integration Services, Kafka, or similar platforms.

Leadership & Mentoring
• Mentor architects, technical leads, and engineering teams on architecture, integration, and cloud-native best practices.
