About the Role
This role offers broad exposure across the full product lifecycle and the opportunity to influence how participating life insurance solutions are designed, priced, governed and delivered.The incumbent’s main responsibility is Actuarial pricing in support of the development for new and innovative participating products or campaigns, including the development of assumptions and pricing models, preparation of regulatory product filings, internal presentations, and support in product implementation.
- Actuarial pricing of new and existingparticipatingproducts, including preparation of reports and presentationsfor senior management
Assess and evaluate keyfinancial metrics, and propose ways toimprovethem while balancing the need for product competitivenessÂ
Engage a range of internal stakeholders on pricing and implementation mattersÂ
Review of product-related documents and provide policy servicing supportÂ
Provide technical and implementation support for system development, including UAT, Day 1 and post-launch enhancementsÂ
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree inActuarialScience orequivalent quantitative disciplineÂ
Min 3years ofactuarialexperience in life insurancewith hands-on exposure to product pricing and product developmentrelated workÂ
Demonstrated progress toward a recognised actuarial qualificationÂ
Strong actuarial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills, with disciplined attention to accuracy, controls and documentationÂ
Ability to turn complex analysis into concise recommendations andcommunicate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Â
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelinesÂ
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strongproficiency in PowerPoint and WordÂ
Knowledge of Prophet or similar actuarial software is a strong advantageÂ
