Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled APIGEE Lead Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in API management and integration, with a strong focus on APIGEE products . This role involves designing and implementing integration API management strategies, as well as overseeing the migration from APIGEE Edge to APIGEE X. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing our API ecosystem and ensuring seamless integration across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

· Design and implement API management strategies using APIGEE, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

· Lead the migration process from APIGEE Edge to APIGEE X, ensuring minimal disruption to existing services.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

· Develop and maintain API documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.

· Monitor API performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.

· Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in API management and integration technologies.

· Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

· Expertise in APIGEE, with a strong understanding of its features and functionalities.

· Proven experience in designing and implementing API management strategies.

· Hands-on experience with the migration process from APIGEE Edge to APIGEE X.

· Strong knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices.

· Proficiency in backend development languages such as Java, Node.js, or Python.

· Experience with API security protocols and standards.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

· Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.

· Experience with API testing tools and frameworks.

· Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

· Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

· Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Relevant certifications in API management or cloud technologies are a plus.

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
