API Automation Testing - CWR - Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintainautomated test scripts for API testing using tools likePostman, Rest Assured, Karate, or ReadyAPI.

• Validate RESTful and SOAP web services forfunctional, regression, and performance testing.

• Create, manage, and executetest cases andtest scenarios based on API specifications.

• Integrate API automation tests intoCI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Analyze test results, debug issues, and work closely with developers to resolve defects.

• Use tools likeSwagger, Postman Collections, or OpenAPI for API documentation and verification.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure product quality.

• Participate intest planning, estimation, and strategy discussions.

• Performdata validation andbackend testing (e.g., SQL queries to verify API responses).
