Job Description
We are looking for an experiencedSDET – API Automation Engineer with strong expertise inJava andRest Assured to join our QA Automation team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and maintaining API automation frameworks, working in Agile environments, and contributing as an individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust API automation frameworks usingJava andRest Assured.
- Create and execute automated API test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Enhance and maintain automation frameworks using OOP principles and best practices.
- Integrate automation suites withJenkins,GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Generate and analyze test reports usingAllure Reports.
- Manage test cases and defects usingJira,Xray, andConfluence.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
- Perform in-sprint automation and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Troubleshoot automation issues and continuously improve test coverage and framework efficiency.
- 5–9 years of overall QA Automation experience.
- Minimum4 years of hands-on experience in Java and Rest Assured.
- Strong experience in API Automation Testing.
