Sales Coordinator

Job Purpose

To provide effective administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring smooth coordination of customer enquiries, quotations, orders, deliveries, documentation, and after-sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

·Receive and coordinate customer enquiries through phone, email, and other channels.

·Prepare quotations, proforma invoices, sales orders, and related sales documentation.

·Follow up quotations and customer enquiries to support sales conversion.

·Coordinate with sales, procurement, stores, finance, and service teams to ensure timely order processing.

·Maintain accurate customer and sales records.

·Monitor order status, deliveries, and customer commitments.

·Prepare sales reports, customer follow-up reports, and other management reports.

·Support the sales team in preparing presentations, tenders, and commercial documents.

·Coordinate customer meetings, site visits, demonstrations, and appointments.

·Handle customer complaints and ensure they are directed to the appropriate department.

·Maintain proper filing of sales correspondence and documentation.

·Support marketing activities and customer relationship management.

Knowledge & Experience

·Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

·2–4 years of experience in sales coordination, administration, or a related role.

·Experience in engineering, industrial equipment, compressors, pumps, generators, or similar technical products is an advantage.

·Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.

·Strong communication and customer-service skills.

·Good organizational and follow-up abilities.
