The team and the opportunity

You will join the Hitachi Digital Global Information Security team, a group dedicated to safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity and availability of enterprise data, systems and information. Our mission is to keep corporate systems secure and help ensure that the products we deliver are free of security flaws and vulnerabilities.

We are looking for an IAM Specialist whose mission is simple: ensure the right people have access to the right resources at the right time, securely. You will join a team of IAM developers and engineers and report into the Identity and Access Management security leadership. Working across both Workforce and Consumer Identity platforms, you will help mature the end-to-end IAM program across Okta, Identity Governance and Auth0 environments.

What you'll be doing

This is a hands-on, technically versatile role focused on developing, configuring and maintaining IAM platforms across internal and external identity ecosystems. You will build automation, custom integrations and platform enhancements, with an automation-first mindset.

• Develop custom integrations and automation acrossOkta Workforce Identity Cloud,Okta Identity Governance andAuth0 usingNode.js,JavaScript,Python andPowerShell.

• Develop and maintainTerraform configurations andCI/CD pipelines for IAMInfrastructure as Code.

• Create, review and maintainOAuth andOIDC integrations across Okta andAuth0.

• CompleteSAML integrations with custom rules and attribute statements.

• DevelopOkta Workflows for critical business processes, provisioning and registration flows.

• Develop custom rules and actions withinAuth0 to interact with external platforms.

• Write customNode.js functions andExpress applications to extend IAM platform capabilities.

• Support Identity Governance processes, including access certifications, entitlement management and lifecycle automation.

• BuildPowerShell andPython scripts to automate reporting, reconciliation and operational tasks.

• Manage application access policies and authorization server policies across environments.

• Develop integrations with critical platforms such asWorkday,Active Directory,Azure andSalesforce.

• SupportOrg2Org federations with other companies in the Hitachi Group.

• Participate in code reviews for automation and tenant management.

What you bring to the team

• Strong understanding ofOIDC/OAuth andSAML authentication mechanisms and protocols, plus related security concepts such asMFA, including how they are used with Okta,Auth0 and otherIdPs and how to troubleshoot issues in this area.

• Strong experience integrating applications with both Okta andAuth0 forSSO, provisioning and governance.

• Hands-on development proficiency inNode.js,JavaScript,Python andPowerShell, including production-grade automation and integrations.

• Comfort and skill withTerraform,CI/CD tooling andInfrastructure as Code best practices.

• Knowledge ofOkta Identity Governance, including access certifications, entitlement management,RBAC andABAC.

• Familiarity with Okta andAuth0 publicAPIs and developmentSDKs.

• Hands-on experience in large, enterprise-scaleIAM environments, including workflows and scripting against publicAPIs.

• Knowledge of advanced Okta capabilities such asOkta Workflows,Okta Identity Governance andOkta Access Gateway. Okta certifications are a plus.

• Understanding of modern cybersecurity threats and how a successfulIAM program helps an enterprise mitigate them.

• Excellent written and spoken English, strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

• Self-driven and adaptable, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in a dynamic, large-scale environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.

• High attention to detail and quality.
