Job Description

Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Recruitment Partner: katrinakatrina.wuk@boots.co.uk

Welcome to the Boots Quality & Technical Services Team - Every customer complaint, review and enquiry tells a story. In Quality & Technical Services, we use that feedback to understand what matters to our customers and where we can make things better.

This role brings together customer insight, data analysis, product quality and consumer safety.
Reporting to the Consumer Complaints Manager, you'll turn feedback and operational data into clear, useful insight that helps teams spot issues early, improve products and services, and make well-informed decisions.

You'll work with colleagues across the business, building trusted reporting and explaining what the data means in a way that leads to action. One day you might be developing a Power BI dashboard, the next investigating a rise in complaints or presenting a trend that needs attention. Your work will be visible, varied and closely connected to the customer experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyse customer complaints, reviews and feedback to identify trends, recurring themes, opportunities and emerging risks.
  • Design and develop clear, useful Power BI dashboards and reports that help stakeholders understand product performance trends and make informed decisions.
  • Use Excel, Power BI, Power Automate and other digital tools to improve reporting, reduce manual work and make insight easier to access.
  • Investigate consumer complaints and product enquiries in line with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Turn complex data into straightforward insight, recommendations and stories and engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify and escalate potential product quality, safety, compliance and reputational issues.
  • Present findings confidently and work with stakeholders to agree practical next steps.
  • Improve data quality, reporting processes and ways of working through curiosity and collaboration, demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset.

What you'll need to have (our must-haves):

  • We're looking for someone who is curious, comfortable working with data and able to clearly articulate trends and insights to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience analysing customer feedback, complaints, operational data or similar information.
  • Strong Power BI and Excel skills, with experience creating reports or dashboards that people can use confidently.
  • A thoughtful, investigative approach to problem-solving and the confidence to ask the right questions.
  • The ability to turn detailed or complex information into clear insight and practical recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Good organisation skills, with the ability to manage several priorities without losing attention to detail.
  • An understanding of product quality, safety, regulatory, governance or another controlled environment.
  • A genuine interest in customer experience and making things work better.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience using CRM tools.
  • Experience in product quality, consumer complaints, technical, regulatory, customer insight or data analysis roles.
  • Experience using Power Automate or similar tools to simplify reporting and routine processes.
  • Experience presenting insight or recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Where your brilliance can take you:

  • Stakeholders trust your reporting and come to you for clear, balanced insight.
  • Your dashboards and analysis help teams make better and quicker decisions.
  • You spot emerging customer or product issues early and help the business respond.
  • You find practical ways to improve reporting, data quality and efficiency.
