Title:Analytical Scientist
Position Type:1 year contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need

Compensation: $37/HR
Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical testing of drug products and APIs under the supervision of a Senior Scientist.
- Perform analytical testing using HPLC/UPLC and dissolution techniques.
- Perform data analysis using chromatography and spectroscopy data.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret raw data and prepare graphs and other visualizations to communicate results.
- Present analytical results and findings to the team in a timely manner.
- Apply knowledge of technical, regulatory, and GMP requirements related to drug product development.
- Troubleshoot analytical techniques, including chromatography, dissolution, and spectroscopy.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team while also managing laboratory activities independently.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to support analytical testing and development activities.
- BS in Analytical Chemistry or a related field with 4–6 years of relevant experience, MS with 1–3 years, or Ph.D. with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on analytical laboratory experience, including wet chemistry and chromatography.
- Required experience with HPLC/UPLC and dissolution.
- Experience with chromatographic data integration and Empower software or other chromatographic data acquisition systems.
- Experience using an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, interdisciplinary environment.
- Experience with UV spectroscopy is preferred.
- Working knowledge of laboratory GMP, quality, compliance, and data integrity requirements.
- Working knowledge of statistics and data analysis tools such as Excel or Minitab.
- Experience conducting comparative and/or multi-media dissolution studies is preferred.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
- HPLC and dissolution experience required.
- Analytical Chemistry background required.
- Empower experience preferred.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
