Visa Information

TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.

Position Description

Analyzes and coordinates office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, fiscal affairs, equipment utilization, records control, and special management studies.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Review and approve purchasing card expense reports for appropriateness and accuracy.
  • Process purchasing card expense reports in compliance with operating policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the rules and regulations of federal, state, and local accounts and the HSC Purchasing Card (PCard) OPs.
  • Interact with department end-users and vendors on purchasing card related issues.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Online Purchasing Card System: Emburse Enterprise.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Equipment utilization and records control for audit.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Banner finance system and/or SciQuest e-Procurement system.
  • Experience with Texas State purchasing card procedures.
  • Bookkeeping and/or account reconciliation experience. 
  • Experience working in a similar position.
  • Degree work or experience in Business, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field. 
  • Experience with Emburse Enterprise or similar administrative programs.

Pay Statement
