ELI 411 - Spoken English

Speaking skills for the university context. Topics include preparation and delivery of individual and group presentations, understanding and practice of American idiomatic speech, and improvement of pronunciation. Reviews of students’ videotaped presentations provide feedback. ELI 411 is equivalent to ESL 411.

Job Requirement

•  A Ph.D or Master's Degree in related discipline from a reputable university.

•  At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred

•  5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantage

•  Course design and implementation based on UB syllabus and textbook

•  Assessment of students

•  Must be available to teach daytime on weekdays

•  Familiarity with Blackboard/ D2L is a plus
