Job Title: Amazon Lex Developer
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Toronto, ON Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced developer to support a large-scale Contact Centre Transformation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing intelligent conversational AI solutions integrated with Amazon Connect to enhance customer self-service and improve the overall contact centre experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience developing conversational AI or chatbot solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Lex and Amazon Connect.
• Experience working within Agile development teams.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with AWS Bedrock, Generative AI, or Agentic AI.
• Financial Services or Banking experience.
• AWS Certifications.
• Experience designing enterprise contact centre solutions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI solutions using Amazon Lex.
• Build and maintain chatbots and voice bots integrated with Amazon Connect.
• Develop conversational flows, intents, utterances, and dialog management.
• Integrate Amazon Lex with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and development teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
• Optimize bot performance and customer experience through testing and continuous improvement.
• Support troubleshooting, production deployments, and ongoing enhancements.
• Document technical designs and participate in Agile ceremonies.
