Responsibilities
- Define SAP platform architecture standards and enforce governance
- Design SAP S/4HANA landscapes for On-Premise, Private Cloud and Public Cloud environments
- Lead RISE with SAP and cloud transformation programs
- Design high availability and disaster recovery architectures
- Define SAP system sizing and performance strategies
- Architect transport management approaches and landscape strategies
- Define SAP security architecture in collaboration with security teams
- Lead SAP Basis modernization initiatives
- Drive Clean Core compliance from a technical architecture perspective
- Establish monitoring and observability standards using SAP Cloud ALM
- Design automation strategies for system provisioning and operations
- Support hyperscaler deployments on Azure, AWS and GCP
- Provide technical leadership during upgrades, migrations and conversions
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in SAP Basis Administration, SAP S/4HANA Architecture and SAP NetWeaver
- Hands-on expertise with SAP HANA Database, SAP Landscape Management and SAP Cloud ALM
- Solid proficiency in SAP Solution Manager and SAP Focused Run
- Working knowledge of RISE with SAP, SAP Private Cloud Edition and hyperscaler platforms including Azure, AWS and GCP
- Practical skills in Kubernetes and Docker
- Strong competency with SAP Identity Management, IAS / IPS and Single Sign-On
- Good understanding of SNC, TLS / Certificates and SAP Authorization Concepts
- Background in High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Performance Engineering
- Clear understanding of Technical Governance, DevOps and Automation
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP BTP Administration and Enterprise Architecture
- Familiarity with LeanIX and Signavio
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and Terraform
