Summary of the role:

Senior Lead - SAP Finance, part of theFICO IT team within LS&Co.’s Corporate Functions IT, reporting to the Director, ERP Finance & Controlling, GCC Delivery Lead.

The team represents Finance in ERP initiatives and is responsible for S/4HANA implementations, global template rollouts, and ongoing enhancements to improve finance operations across markets. This role plays a key part instrategic solution design, finance transformation, and data migration activities across implementation programs.

About the Role-

This role requires a strong functional SAP FICO expert with hands-on capability and strategic thinking to design, implement, and optimize finance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadsolution design, architecture, and configuration of SAP FICO aligned to LS&Co.’s global template
• Drivestrategic solutioning, including design decisions, trade-off analysis (pros/cons), and scalable finance process frameworks
• Own and supportdata migration and conversion activities including:
  • Migration strategy and planning
  • Data mapping (legacy → S/4)
  • Data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders todefine requirements and prioritize transformation initiatives
• Leadend-to-end project delivery (design, build, test, deploy, stabilization)
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensureintegration across SAP modules (PTP, OTC, etc.)
• Driveprocess improvements and adoption of new system capabilities
• Facilitate workshops, solution validation sessions, and stakeholder alignment
• Supporttesting cycles (SIT/UAT) including test scenario design and issue resolution
• Leadchange management, business cutover, and hypercare support
• Developprocess documentation, functional specifications, and training materials
• Manage escalations, risks, and ensure timely issue resolution
• Lead and mentor amedium-sized team, owning deliverables and team development

About You-

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
• CA or advanced degree preferred

Skills & Experience

Core SAP Expertise:

• SAP FICO (15+ years) with strong hands-on expertise in:
  • General Ledger (incl. New GL, parallel ledgers, multi-GAAP, multi-currency)
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Asset Accounting / Banking
  • Controlling (CO modules)
• Experience inintegration with PTP, OTC and other modules
• Strong exposure tointerfaces (ALE/IDOC/PI-PO)

Strategic & Transformation Experience:

• Proven experience inglobal template design and rollout across multi-country environments
• Strong exposure tofinance transformation programs and S/4HANA implementations
• Ability to drivehigh-level solution design, process optimization, and future-state architecture

Data Migration & Implementation:

• Hands-on experience with:
  • Data conversion strategy and execution
  • Data mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation
  • Migration tools/processes (e.g., Winshuttle preferred)
• Experience acrossimplementation, enhancements, and production support

Additional Skills:

• Basic ABAP understanding (debugging, reading code) – good to have
• Exposure to reporting tools (BI HANA, Tableau)
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence

• Experience managing small to medium-sized teams
• Strong stakeholder management across global teams
• Ability to lead workshops, drive decisions, and influence outcomes

• Experience leveragingAI, automation, or analytics in finance processes
• Awareness ofSAP innovations (embedded analytics, predictive accounting, AI-enabled finance use cases)
