About the role

Are you an experienced warehouse professional looking for more than just another warehouse job?

We're seeking a hands-onWarehouse Assistant– MR Driver to join our Doorways team. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you'll combine your warehousing, forklift and driving skills to ensure vital donations and material aid are received, managed and distributed efficiently to support people doing it tough.

From operating forklifts and managing inventory to collecting donations and delivering goods in an MR truck, no two days are the same. You'll be part of a supportive, purpose-driven team where your work has a real impact on the community.

This role requires a current VIC Medium Rigid (MR) Licence and current Forklift Licence, as both are essential requirements of the position.

Reporting to the Doorways Material Aid Team Leader, this is apermanent full-time, on-site opportunity based in Brunswick, VIC.

Conditions

Salary and conditions are in accordance with theSCHADS Award Level 2.

How you will make an impact

• Keep warehouse operations running efficiently by receiving, processing and dispatching goods accurately and on time
• Manage inventory and stock control activities to ensure material aid is readily available when needed
• Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment while maintaining a strong safety-first culture
• Drive an MR truck to collect and deliver donations across the community
• Conduct quality checks and ensure donated goods are handled with care and professionalism
• Help turn community generosity into practical support for individuals and families experiencing hardship

What you will bring

• Previous experience working in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
• Current VIC Medium Rigid (MR) Licence - Essential
• Current Forklift Licence - Essential
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control and safe manual handling practices
• Ability to work in a physically active role involving loading, unloading and moving goods
• Workplace First Aid Certificate(highly regarded)
• Current VICEmployee Working with Children Check
