PTMatic Environmental Technician

Reporting to the Operations Manager, theEnvironmental Technicianwill perform a variety of duties involving removal, transportation, loading, and disposal of all types of asbestos materials and other hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work within duties and requirements of the Company Management Plan.
• Collection and packaging of waste from different waste generators.
• Dismantling, packaging of waste and decontamination of related areas.
• Proper use and maintenance of personal protection and decontamination equipment.
• Loading of waste onto containers in preparation for shipment.
• Proper labelling of waste and containers.
• Collection of consumables required for use on site operations.
• Proper use of company vehicles and equipment.
• Any other tasks that may be required for the day-to-day operations of the company.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & ATTRIBUTES:

• Good level of spoken English 

Preference will be given to candidates who hold any of the following:

• Valid Maltese or EU Category B Driving License
• Forklift Driving License
  
• Cherry picker License
