About the role

Housekeeping Supervisor (The Exchange TRX)

• Supervise the daily operations and maintenance of mall facilities, including lifts, escalators, and fire protection systems.

• Ensure all building systems operate safely and efficiently.

• Coordinate and monitor maintenance contractors and service providers.

• Conduct routine inspections of common areas, equipment, and housekeeping hygiene and facilities.

• Respond promptly to facility breakdowns, emergencies, and tenant complaints.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and mall policies.

• Maintain maintenance records, service reports, contractors’ monthly service reports, and asset documentation.

• Assist in preparing facilities budgets and controlling operational costs.

• Support mall events and tenant fit-out works from a facilities perspective.

• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

• Carry out routine preventive maintenance inspections and upkeep of all public toilets to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and compliance with hygiene standards.

• Monitor and ensure all cleaning personnel maintain proper grooming, appearance, and professional conduct at all times.

• Conduct regular inspections of common areas and oversee housekeeping standards to ensure the mall is maintained in a clean, safe, and presentable condition for tenants and visitors.

About You:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in facilities management, preferably within a shopping mall, commercial building, or mixed-use environment.

• Working knowledge of fire safety systems and general building maintenance practices.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with local authority regulations and safety compliance standards.

• Able to work on rotating shift schedule, weekends and Public Holidays. May require to work overtime based on scheduled and emergency call off support shift or any “Just In Case” situations.
