We are looking for an experiencedCommercial Finance professional to leadFinance partnering for ourEast business
This is abusiness-facing role that combinescommercial business partnering, planning and performance management, team leadership andstrong financial governance. The role will partner closely withSales and Commercial leadership to influence business decisions,drive profitable growth and strengthen the overallCommercial Finance capability across the markets
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering:Act as atrusted Finance partner to Sales and Commercial leadership, providing insights andconstructive challenge to support key business and commercial decisions.
Commercial Finance:Partner the business onrevenue growth, pricing, trade investments, customer/channel profitability, margins andgo-to-market decisions.
Planning & Performance:Leadbudgeting, forecasting andshort- and long-range financial planning; identify key performance drivers,risks and opportunities and translate them intoactionable recommendations.
Multi-Market Leadership:ProvideFinance leadership across East India, Nepal and Bangladesh, navigating different market dynamics, commercial priorities and stakeholder environments.
Operational & Financial Governance:Ensure strong oversight ofmonth-end activities, financial reporting, commercial controls, compliance and governance, while maintaining accuracy and financial discipline.
Team Leadership:Lead and develop theCommercial Finance team, strengthening both functional and business partnering capabilities.
Transformation & Simplification:Driveprocess improvement, standardization and automation of recurring Finance activities, creating greater capacity forinsight-led business partnering.
What We're Looking For
- CA or MBA (Finance) with approximately8–14 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience inCommercial Finance, Sales Finance or Business Finance, preferably withinFMCG or a complex consumer-facing organisation.
- Demonstrated experiencepartnering Sales/Commercial teams andinfluencing business decisions.
- Strong understanding ofcommercial levers including revenue, pricing, trade spends, margins and customer/channel profitability.
- Experience inplanning, forecasting, performance management andfinancial governance.
- Strongpeople leadership, analytical andstakeholder-management capabilities.
- Acommercial mindset with the ability to balance business partnership with strong financial controls and operational discipline.
