AI Software Engineer (DevOps) - Bangalore, India

To reinforce our team of experts, we are seeking a highly skilledSoftware Engineer with strong AI and Python expertise and deep understanding ofcloud infrastructure and distributed systems. This role focuses on buildingscalable infrastructure platforms, automation frameworks, and cloud-native services that support large-scale production environments.

The ideal candidate combinesstrong coding ability with infrastructure knowledge, enabling them to design reliable systems, automate operational processes, and build internal tools that improve platform reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python
• Buildscalable microservices and APIs supporting cloud infrastructure platforms
• Develop automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operational workflows
• Writeclean, maintainable, and testable code following modern engineering practices
• Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
• Work withcloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI, or Azure) to design and operate scalable systems
• Develop automation forinfrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment
• ImplementInfrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Terraform, Helm, or CloudFormation
• Build systems that supporthigh availability, resiliency, and performance at scale

 Platform & Reliability Engineering

• Build internal tools formonitoring, alerting, and operational observability
• Improve system reliability throughautomation and self-healing mechanisms
• Work closely with SRE and platform teams to reduce operational overhead
• Implement best practices aroundsecurity, scalability, and performance

 Collaboration

• Collaborate withDevOps, SRE, Security, and Product Engineering teams
• Participate indesign reviews and architecture discussions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and tooling

Requirements: 

• Strong programming skills inPython
• Experience buildingproduction-grade backend services
• Deep understanding ofcloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI)
• Experience withcontainerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)

Infrastructure & DevOps

• Experience withInfrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation)
• Strong knowledge ofLinux systems and networking fundamentals
• Experience withCI/CD pipelines and automated deployment systems
• Understanding ofmonitoring and observability platforms

Software Engineering:

• Experience designingscalable distributed systems
• Strong understanding ofAPI design and microservices architecture
• Familiarity withGit-based workflows and modern development practices
• Experience withunit testing, integration testing, and code reviews

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working inlarge-scale SaaS environments
• Knowledge ofstreaming platforms (Kafka / Kinesis)
• Experience withdata stores such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis
• Experience buildingautomation tools for SRE or platform engineering
• Familiarity withsecurity and compliance requirements in cloud environments
