AI Lead

Role Summary:

The person will be placed as AI Lead at UK location. The primary responsibility is to take ownership and drive AI Solutions and help with AI initiative proposals.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, PLM teams, and manufacturing operations to validate AI business use cases, define AI functional requirements, and ensure seamless integration PLM and AI systems.

In this role the person will lead the design, delivery and scaling of enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions across engineering and business domains. Provide technical leadership for architecture, AWS cloud, AI governance, MLOps and innovation

Area of Responsibility

·Define AI roadmaps and reference architectures

·Design solutions using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3 and IAM

·Lead development of AI assistants, copilots and enterprise chatbots

·Establish MLOps/LLMOps practices

·Manage stakeholders and pre-sales engagements

·Oversee delivery quality, security and scalability

·Execute SIT, UAT and Regression Testing

·Review business process validation results

·Help in AI proposals with cost effective solutions

Knowledge / Experience

Essential:

·AI application development experience with leading AI/ML programs

·Hands-on expertise in LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, vector databases and AI agents

·Strong AWS knowledge including Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS and cloud architecture

·Advanced Python skills and experience with LangChain or equivalent frameworks

·Experience with MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, observability and governance

·Strong communication, stakeholder and team leadership skills

·Experience delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions

Desirable:

·AWS Solutions Architect Professional and/or AI Specialty certifications

·Exposure to Azure OpenAI and multi-cloud AI platforms

·Knowledge of Knowledge Graphs, GraphRAG and multi-agent orchestration

·PLM, Digital Engineering, MBSE or Manufacturing domain experience

·Automotive, Aerospace or Industrial sector background

·Experience with data governance, security and Responsible AI frameworks
