Job Summary

Infosys is seeking an experiencedAI Engineer to join its team supportingHCSC's Digital and AI Transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building enterprise-grade AI/GenAI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), Prompt Engineering, and Agentic AI frameworks. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI applications that integrate with enterprise systems and enhance business processes.

Candidates with expertise in cloud AI platforms, Contact Center AI solutions, and multi-agent architectures are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI and Generative AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Build intelligent AI assistants and Agentic AI solutions utilizing modern AI frameworks.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines with vector databases.
• Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) for AI agent interoperability and context management.
• Design and optimize prompts for enterprise AI applications.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications and APIs.
• Build scalable backend services and AI workflows using Python.
• Work with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and other cloud AI platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Data Scientists, and Engineering teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions.
• Evaluate, monitor, and optimize AI model performance, scalability, and security.
• Follow best practices for AI governance, responsible AI, and software development.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical design discussions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building AI/Generative AI applications.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Python Development
  • Prompt Engineering
  • Agentic AI Development
• Experience integrating AI models with enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Contact Center AI solutions.
• Expertise in AI application architecture and enterprise AI implementations.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Azure OpenAI
  • AWS Bedrock
  • Google Vertex AI
• Experience integrating AI services using REST APIs and SDKs.
• Familiarity with cloud-native application development.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Healthcare domain experience.
• Experience with multi-agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel.
• Experience with vector databases including Pinecone, ChromaDB, FAISS, Weaviate, or Milvus.
• Knowledge of conversational AI platforms and virtual assistants.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation frameworks such as LangSmith, Ragas, or DeepEval.
