Agile Scrum Master

Agile Scrum Master - Phoenix, AZ - Contract - $45-55 Per HR

As a Senior Scrum Master in a dynamic environment, you will lead multiple Agile teams to ensure effective implementation of Agile principles. This role is based in Phoenix, AZ, and is a contract position. You will work closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders to facilitate Agile processes and drive software quality using industry-standard technologies.

Description

• Serve as a servant-leader and coach for Agile teams.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile principles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive delivery excellence and cross-team collaboration.
• Enable continuous improvement within teams and across the organization.
• Utilize Agile tools to maintain visibility of sprint progress and team performance.
• Encourage self-organization and productivity enhancements among team members.
• Promote Agile values and foster a culture of transparency.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and lead Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Identify and resolve impediments, managing dependencies across teams.
• Coach teams on Agile practices and encourage continuous improvement.
• Promote transparency through Scrum events and agile values.
• Capture and report team performance metrics to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of experience in Agile environments, with 2 to 3 years as a Scrum Master.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and coaching skills.
• Experience with Agile tools like Jira or Trello.
