Position Title: Agile Release Project Manager
Location: Wright-Patterson AFB, OH
Salary: $170,000.00 - $180,000.00
Position Summary:
Command Cyber Solutions is seeking an Agile Release Project Manager to support the DEAMS contract at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The Agile Release Project Manager is a hybrid resource specializing in the agile software release pipeline with a focus in ensuring all aspects of the software delivery process are accounted for from requirements definition through the delivery and deployment activities to help prioritize stability and reliability of software releases for DEAMS.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Release Planning & Strategy:
Participate in requirement definition to prioritize work to reduce technical debt (PAT and/or TAT)
Adhere to defined release frequency following agile SAFE framework.
Evaluate epics and features for complete and accurate definitions.
Monitor and evaluate product updates for release readiness.
- Coordination & Communication:
Facilitating communication between Dev, Ops, System Integrator, and business stakeholders regarding release content, dependencies and deployment timelines.
Serve as the O&S liaison with the RTE team for release deliverables and program metric to streamline the process for efficiency.
- Process Management:
Ensure adherence to quality standards and established procedures.
Define and document new process/procedures as required for the program.
- Risk & Issue Management:
Identify, manage, and assist in resolving issues that could impact release scope, quality, or schedule milestones with stakeholders.
Documentation & Improvement:
Participate in communities of practice and various agile ceremonies alongside the Scrum Masters and teams to help drive continuous improvement in the overall agile delivery process. (DOTT)
Provide support for contractual deliverables as needed.
- Production Support:
Provide overall coordination of O&S activities to support production operations on a day-to-day basis
Assist in the coordination of FYE activities from a PMO O&S perspective.
Monitor/Manage ServiceNow Incidents
Education, Certification & Experience Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field of study preferred. Equivalent work experience may be substituted.
Certifications:
- SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), Program Management Professional (PMP), PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent Agile project management certification
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience coordinating software releases across multiple teams
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices
- Strong stakeholder communication and risk management skills
