Role SummaryÂ
We're looking for a builder, not just a coder — someone who understands agentic AI well and is excited to apply it to real operational problems in a real estate investment and property management platform. You'll partner directly with department heads and property teams to understand repetitive, manual, or error-prone workflows, take the business rules and parameters from them, then design and ship AI agents and automations that eliminate them. You don't need to be an expert in leasing or accounting, and you don't need to build full code backends: most of the work is prompts, skills, and low-code automation. This is a highly cross-functional, high-visibility role reporting into IT, with exposure to Acquisitions, Accounting, Property Management, HR, and Leasing.Â
Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
At HQ (Beverly Hills):Â
• Interview stakeholders across Acquisitions, Accounting, Operations, HR, and Leasing to map current manual workflowsÂ
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents (skills, plugins, and connectors on our AI platforms, plus rules-based automations) that automate document review, data entry, reporting, underwriting support, and internal Q&AÂ
• Integrate agents with existing systems (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Outlook, Yardi, Rippling) using available connectors and low-code/no-code toolsÂ
• Package finished tools so non-technical users can run them easily, with short how-to guidesÂ
At the Property Level:Â
• Work with regional and on-site property management teams to identify high-friction tasks (maintenance ticketing, resident communications, lease abstraction, vendor invoicing, compliance tracking)Â
• Deploy automation and AI agents that reduce manual data entry and turnaround time across the ~8,500-unit multifamily portfolio and commercial assetsÂ
• Travel occasionally to properties when on-site requirements gathering or rollout support is needed; most discovery happens remotely over TeamsÂ
Ongoing:Â
• Monitor, maintain, and iterate on deployed agents; track efficiency gains (hours saved, error reduction, cost avoidance)Â
• Document workflows and maintain a library of reusable automation componentsÂ
• Test each automation with its business owner before release, and keep a person in the loop for anything sent outside the companyÂ
• Work within IT's security model: least-privilege access, approved connectors, and service accountsÂ
• Stay current on AI/agent tooling and recommend new use cases, including when a workflow is ready for more advanced, API-based agentsÂ
First Six MonthsÂ
This is a new program for Omninet, and both you and the company will build experience as it grows. In the first six months, you will:Â
• Deliver several working automations for real teams, such as lease renewal letter drafting and broker deal intakeÂ
• Measure results (hours saved, turnaround time, error rates) and share what worked and what didn'tÂ
• Build a reusable library of skills, templates, and connectors that makes each new automation fasterÂ
• Use what we learn together to shape the program's next stageÂ
Â
Required Qualifications:Â
• 2+ years of experience in automation, business systems, solutions engineering, or a similar technical role; a degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus but not requiredÂ
• Strong hands-on experience with LLMs and agentic tools, including writing prompts, skills, or instructions that produce consistent, reliable resultsÂ
• Experience building skills, custom assistants, plugins, or connectors on AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or GrokÂ
• Familiarity with APIs and basic automation conceptsÂ
• Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to translate business problems into technical solutions and explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholdersÂ
• Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and eager to work directly with business teams (not just other engineers)Â
• Good judgment about data sensitivity and when a person must review AI outputÂ
• Willingness to travel occasionallyÂ
Â
Preferred Qualifications (not required):Â
• Experience with low-code/no-code workflow tools and the Microsoft 365 ecosystemÂ
• Comfortable reading and adjusting code (Python, PowerShell, JSON) when needed, including code written with AI assistanceÂ
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or API-based agent developmentÂ
• Exposure to real estate, property management, or financial servicesÂ
• Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management systemsÂ
Â
Tools & TechnologiesÂ
• Languages: Python, PowerShell, JSON (code is often AI-assisted)
• AI/Agents: AI assistant platforms (currently Claude; others such as OpenAI as approved): skills, plugins, connectors, agentic coding tools, prompt engineering
• Automation/Integration: Low-code/no-code workflow tools, Microsoft Graph, MCP connectors
• Business Systems: Yardi, Microsoft 365 / SharePoint, Rippling
• Data: Excel, SharePoint lists, basic data pipelines
• Version Control: Git / GitHubÂ
Â
Reporting & LocationÂ
• Reports to: Director of Information TechnologyÂ
• Based at Omninet Capital HQ, 9420 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 400, Beverly Hills, CA 90212Â
• Occasional travel to portfolio properties as neededÂ
• Full-time, in-office roleÂ
Â
Compensation & BenefitsÂ
• Base salary: $100,000–$145,000, based on experience and market benchmarkingÂ
• Standard Omninet employee benefits (health/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO)

About Omninet Capital LLC
Omninet Capital is a vertically integrated private real estate investment and property management firm headquartered in Beverly Hills, California. Founded and led by its principals, the firm owns and operates a diversified portfolio of multifamily and commercial assets across the United States, with approximately 300 professionals managing the platform end-to-end — from acquisitions, capital markets, and asset management to property operations, construction, accounting, legal, and technology.
Our edge is operational. Because we underwrite, close, and operate our own assets, every member of the acquisitions team works alongside the people ultimately responsible for executing the business plan. We combine institutional rigor with the speed and conviction of a principal investor, while increasingly leveraging AI and automation to accelerate underwriting, sharpen decision-making, and uncover opportunities others miss.
