Assembly Specialist / Parts Puller

AFCO Performance Group is seeking a highly motivatedAssembly Specialist / Parts Puller to join our team in Boonville, Indiana.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with their hands and a computer system, and takes pride in getting the right parts to the right place accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

As an Assembly Specialist / Parts Puller, you’ll play an important role in keeping our racing equipment production moving by accurately pulling, counting, preparing, assembling, and packaging parts.

Daily responsibilities may include:

• Using our computer system and work orders to accurately pull and count parts
• Preparing parts and components for racing equipment builds
• Sorting and packing lightweight materials
• Counting quantities and accurately labeling cartons
• Reading work orders, pulling required parts, and verifying accuracy
• Performing basic assembly work as needed
• Following written work instructions
• Performing spot checks to ensure products meet approved quality standards
• Identifying and reporting product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to management
• Operating basic machinery and hand tools as needed
• Maintaining a clean, organized work area
• Following established AFCO Performance Group and OSHA safety policies and procedures
• Moving between different work areas within the company as production needs change
• Most tasks do not require repetitive heavy lifting; however, team members must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to frequently pinch, grasp, and perform fine manipulation with fingers
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Strong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervision
• Professionalism and sound decision-making skills
• Willingness to learn and work in different areas as needed
• Mechanical assembly skills are preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Consistent and reliable attendance in accordance with AFCO’s attendance policy
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening prior to employment

Schedule:

This position currently works afour-day workweek:Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–4:40 PM

Team members currently work 10-hour days, giving you a three-day weekend while maintaining a full-time schedule.
