Aerospace Production Certification Assessor
Location: Everett, WA 98204
Pay Rate: $30.00–$32.00/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Approximately 32 hours per week, depending on client demand. Must be flexible to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, including overtime as needed.
Duration: 3-month contract with potential for long-term opportunity
Work Authorization: Candidates must meet U.S. person status requirements per client policy
Overview
The Aerospace Production Certification Assessor supports the Instructor Resource Management team by administering and evaluating aerospace manufacturing skills assessments. This position conducts both hands-on and theoretical evaluations to ensure employees meet required aerospace production and compliance standards.
Candidates should have experience in aerospace manufacturing, production, training, leadership, or a related technical environment and must be comfortable working across multiple shifts and locations.
Technical Skill Areas
Experience may include one or more of the following:
- Electrical systems
- Bonding and grounding
- Seal application
- Aircraft assembly
- Heavy and light structural drilling
- Fastener and rivet installation
- Production standards
- Power and hand tool usage
Key Responsibilities
- Administer complex hands-on and theoretical skills evaluations.
- Assess aerospace manufacturing and production competencies.
- Support multiple clients and evaluations simultaneously.
- Accurately enter grades, attendance, and assessment records.
- Maintain 100% accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping.
- Communicate questions, issues, and assessment updates to management in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within an industrial environment.
- Stay current on aerospace production standards and compliance requirements.
- Provide a high level of customer service throughout the assessment process.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of training, leadership, or management experience preferred.
- Aerospace manufacturing, production, assembly, or related technical experience strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn new software and evaluation systems.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Must be flexible to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
- Must be able to travel within the geographic area from Everett to Puyallup.
- Flexibility to work overtime based on client needs.
Mileage Reimbursement
Mileage reimbursement is available for qualifying travel beyond the employee’s normal commute to their closest assigned work location. Qualifying mileage must be submitted through Fieldglass according to company expense procedures.
