AEP(Adobe Experience Platform) Tester

AJO/AEP Quality Assurance –

Role Summary

Responsible for functional, regression, and data-quality testing across Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) implementations — including schema/dataset validation, identity resolution, segmentation, and Journey Optimizer (AJO) campaign flows — within a regulated enterprise environment.

• Design and execute test plans for AEP data ingestion, XDM schemas, datasets, and identity graph configurations
• Validate audience segments, real-time and batch activations, and destination connections
• Test AJO journeys — trigger conditions, decisioning, personalization, and channel delivery (email/SMS/push)
• Perform data reconciliation and quality checks across ingestion and activation pipelines
• Conduct consent and privacy compliance checks (e.g., Adobe Standard consent objects, opt-in/opt-out logic)
• Log, triage, and track defects through resolution using tools like JIRA
• Support UAT cycles with business and compliance stakeholders
• Document test evidence for audit/regulatory sign-off (relevant in APRA-regulated contexts)

Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5+ years in QA/testing, with 1–2+ years specifically on Adobe Experience Platform and/or AJO
• Working knowledge of XDM schemas, Real-Time CDP, and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) a plus
• Experience testing API-based integrations (Postman or similar)
• SQL proficiency for data validation
• Understanding of consent/privacy frameworks in regulated industries (banking/finance preferred)
Certifications (Preferred)
• Adobe Certified Professional – AEP or AJO
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
Nice to Have
• Exposure to APRA CPS 234 or similar regulatory testing requirements
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for API/data validation
