Pay Range: $55 - $65/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, focusing on Layer 2/Layer 3 switching technologies
  • Develop and implement network automation solutions to streamline provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Manage and optimize network performance, availability, and security across data center and campus environments
  • Automate routine network operations using scripting and orchestration tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network integration and deployment efforts
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Maintain up-to-date network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
  • Participate in change management, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • 5+ years of network engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 switching (VLANs, VRRP, MC-LAG, STP, VTP, PortChannel, and routing protocols such as OSPF/BGP)
  • Hands-on experience with network automation tools, such as Python, Ansible, or similar scripting/automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and network programmability concepts
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security fundamentals
  • Familiarity with major networking platforms (e.g., Client, Cisco, Arista, Juniper)
