Pay Range: $55 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, focusing on Layer 2/Layer 3 switching technologies.
Develop and implement network automation solutions to streamline provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Manage and optimize network performance, availability, and security across data center and campus environments.
Automate routine network operations using scripting and orchestration tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network integration and deployment efforts.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.
Maintain up-to-date network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
Participate in change management, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Experience in network design and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
Familiarity with vulnerability and security risk assessments of network assets.
Knowledge of unified communications solutions and integration with wireless technologies.
5+ years of network engineering experience.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 switching (VLANs, VRRP, MC-LAG, STP, VTP, PortChannel, and routing protocols such as OSPF/BGP).
Hands-on experience with network automation tools, including demonstrated proficiency in Python, Ansible, or similar scripting/automation frameworks.
Familiarity with REST APIs and network programmability concepts.
Knowledge of major networking platforms (e.g., Client, Cisco, Arista, Juniper).
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security fundamentals.
