About The Job:

• A hands-on role supporting the development of predictive analytics capabilities for Manufacturing.
• The initiative ingests process data for key CPPs across five prioritized equipment/process areas and provides near real-time dashboards, control charts, alert/action limits, drift detection, and nonconformance flagging.
• Predictive analytics focuses on theHPLC Yield & Column Pressure Optimization use case using available historical manufacturing data.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform hands-on data exploration, profiling, preprocessing, and feature engineering on manufacturing and process datasets.
• Analyze historical data to identify patterns, correlations, anomalies, and process trends.
• Support the development and evaluation of predictive models for HPLC-related use cases.
• Develop reusable Python-based analytical and modeling components.
• Work closely with ADS leads and manufacturing SMEs to translate process knowledge into analytical features and model inputs.
• Support drift detection techniques and abnormal process behavior identification.
• Perform model validation, sensitivity analysis, and performance assessment.
• Document datasets, data transformations, modeling assumptions, experiments, and model outputs.
• Partner with data engineering and backend teams to integrate analytical outputs into monitoring dashboards and applications.
• Support testing and troubleshooting of analytics components throughout the pilot lifecycle.

Qualifications:
Must Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with Python-based Data Science and Machine Learning.
• Strong experience in data preparation, exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and predictive modeling.
• Good SQL skills and ability to work with multiple structured datasets.
• Understanding of regression, classification, anomaly detection, and/or time-series analytical techniques.
• Ability to visualize and communicate analytical findings effectively.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to data quality.

Preferred Skills

• Manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or industrial analytics experience.
• Exposure to manufacturing process parameters, sensor/equipment data, or process-monitoring datasets.
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC), control charts, and drift detection techniques.
• Experience working with HPLC or similar manufacturing and quality datasets is highly advantageous.
