We are seeking an Admissions Assistant to support our Director of Marketing. This role is ideal for an organized, customer-focused professional who enjoys interacting with people, coordinating events, and providing administrative support in a senior living community.

Position Summary

The Admissions Assistant provides administrative, clerical, and event support to the Marketing & Admissions Department. This position serves as a welcoming point of contact for prospective residents, families, visitors, and community members while assisting with marketing initiatives, admissions processes, and departmental operations.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Champion the mission, vision, andCV CARES core values in all interactions with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
  • Adhere to all Covenant Village policies and procedures.
  • Provide admissions information to prospective residents, families, and the general public.
  • Maintain admissions, orientation, move-in, and marketing information packets.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with maintaining waiting lists and resident prospect files.
  • Support the planning, preparation, and implementation of marketing & admissions events and meetings.
  • Track RSVPs and reservations for events and activities.
  • Assist with departmental correspondence, filing, scheduling, and office organization.
  • Maintain the Marketing & Admissions workroom and kitchen area, including inventory and supplies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to prospective residents, families, current residents, and team members.
  • Attend required trainings and departmental meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in an office or administrative environment.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office applications, data entry, and general office equipment.

Preferred

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Admissions, customer service, healthcare, or senior living experience.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

  • Sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Read standard print with or without corrective lenses.
  • Work indoors and outdoors as needed for events and community activities.
